Chocha Foodstore

Tucked away on Petaling Street, Chocha Foodstore is the definition of “blink and you’ll miss it”—but trust us, you don’t want to miss it. This hidden gem brings modern Malaysian flavours to life with seasonal ingredients, many plucked straight from their own little garden (yes, it’s that kind of fresh). Their dishes are typically made for sharing and go well with the natural wines and cheeky cocktails from their sister bar, Botakliquor.

The menu is seasonal, but a standout for us is this tender, flavourful braised-charred lamb collar served with young jackfruit puree and braised chayote, that pairs perfectly with the tangy chimichurri.
